Fix: Unable to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64)

 

How to fix:

Download and run troubleshooter from https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/windows-fix-problems-that-block-programs-being-installed-or-removeddownload 

From reddit:
Runit - choose option - have problem with installing - it lists programs -
choose the missing / problematic visual c++ runtimes in the list it will run and get fixed.

Repeat for each visual c++ you having problems with. I ran the program multiple times.

In my case, I used that tool to fix all the Visual C++ 2019 components that didn’t appear in the Programs and Features list. I guess they were broken and caused issues with the Visual C++ 2015–2022 installation. After fixing them, I was able to install Visual C++ 2015–2022 successfully.
