Feeling empowered is when you're self-motivated.
If you want to know if you (or someone else) feel empowered, ask 3 questions:
1. Do you believe you can do it? (Do you have the time, knowledge and training)
2. Will it work? (show them the data, the theory, teach them, takes education - why this might work, )
3. Is it worth it? (you have to convince people that it's worth it)
If yes to all three, you feel competent.
(training vs education. training means you do the behavior and you get feedback)
Choice - be mindful: be a success seeker rather than failure avoider, i.e. see things as opportunities rather than requirements
